Set on a 1.5 acre plot we have a large wildlife pond and a mixture of paddocks and woods. It's a busy place - in the winter our horses roam free on the grounds and you will see an abundance of wild animals such as woodpeckers, jays, moorhens, ducks, pheasants, peacock, foxes, hedgehogs, several wild birds, frogs, newts and sometimes muntjac deer.

As we are right on the 'five ways' junction, the tracks going off into the woods are right on our doorstep. Walking, cycling and riding are a delight - we offer free bicycle loans and woodland walking guides, however, be aware that these woods can be easy to get lost in and some of the smaller tracks get quite muddy in winter.

You can access the sustrans cycle path from our house without having to go near a road. This can take you to Lincoln, Harby village or into Skellingthorpe itself. There are a couple of nice pubs off the cycle track if you would like to enjoy some pub food.
